I figured it was time to do this because my pinned post doesn't even look like HER.

That photo was Jenn from before.

Before she left her childhood dream farmhouse to make a better future for her family.

Before she started chasing her videography dreams and achieving big biz goals.

Before she decided she was gonna be exactly who SHE wanted, not who she thought others wanted.

Not gonna lie there's been lots of pain and heartbreak between these two posts but lots and lots of growth!

So here's to the future of this version of me āœØāœØšŸ“·šŸ“·

It's time to stop only taking family photos in a field in Sunday best....

Now I'm not saying we shouldn't do those beautiful photos. Those still have their place, and honestly I'm still booking those. šŸ¤·

But the sessions that light me up? The ones where we bring something that MEANS something to your family to life..

So before you book your family's next session ask yourself this "what do we enjoy doing together as a family? " And let's start dreaming up your unique session that the kids will remember years from now!

You know the one that helps capture a piece of their childhood (and your parenthood too šŸ˜˜)

Fall Portrait Minis šŸ‚

For the people who love my work but also really want that classic fall family photo.

These are a little different from my usual sessions. Theyā€™re short, simple, and more portrait-focused. Think the photos youā€™d want to print for your Christmas cards, but without a backdrop, props, or a bunch of forced posing.

Just your family, the fall color, and 20 minutes to get some really good pictures.

I have two fall locations available, with minis running only from 4-6 PM on the listed dates, so there are a limited number of spots.

Iā€™ve been wanting to spend more time shooting film.

Iā€™ve photographed my own family on film, and Iā€™ve photographed one other family and thereā€™s something about it that I just canā€™t stop thinking about. It's this: Film makes me slow down. It makes me pay attention. I donā€™t get an endless stream of images to choose from, and I kind of love that.

Thereā€™s a little bit of risk in it. A little bit of waiting. A little bit of not knowing exactly what we got until the film comes back.But I think thatā€™s part of the beauty.

So Iā€™m looking for a few people who want to let me experiment with this.

It could be a family, a couple, a motherhood session, branding photos, or just a fun creative portrait session. Iā€™m really hoping to making something a little different!

These will be highly discounted while I continue building my film work and figuring out exactly where I want to take it.

When your family session ends up in the creek. šŸ¤˜šŸ‘Œ

But honestly, this is kind of the whole point for me.
I donā€™t want your family photos to just be a collection of pretty pictures where everyone stood in the right spot and smiled at the camera.

I want you to remember what it felt like to be your family in this season of life. The kids getting soaked. The laughing. The ā€œare we really doing this?ā€ moments. The stuff you probably wouldnā€™t have planned if you were just trying to take pictures.

Because years from now, I hope you look back at these and remember more than what everyone looked like.
I hope you remember that you had fun. That you were together. That your kids were little and wild and happy and you said yes to getting in the creek.

Thatā€™s what I want to give you with a session. Not just pretty pictures, but a memory you get to keep.
