3/3: I spend an unreasonable amount of my free time in the mountains.

And then people ask me to photograph their wedding in them.
Pretty solid career choice, if you ask me 😂

But this is also why mountain weddings have become such a big part of what I photograph.

I know what changing weather can do up here. I know that sometimes the cloud you were quietly cursing five minutes ago suddenly gives you the best light of the entire day. I know plans change. Dresses get dirty. Hair doesn't stay where it started.
And none of that bothers me.

Quite the opposite.

Give me the wind, the fog, the muddy shoes, the last gondola down and the slightly chaotic plan B.

That's usually where the good stuff is.

So yes - more mountain weddings, please.

2/3: There is a very specific kind of inquiry that makes me open my calendar immediately.

“We’re thinking about getting married somewhere in the mountains…”

Okay. You have my attention 😂

Then you tell me there might be a helicopter or a gondola ride involved. Or skis. Or a little hike. Or dinner in a mountain hut. Or that you found this place with an absolutely insane view and have no idea yet how the rest of the day should look.

Even better.

You don’t need to come to me with a perfectly planned adventure wedding.

Actually, please don’t.

Give me the rough idea, the people you want there and what you want the day to feel like. The rest can be figured out.

So if your current wedding plan is approximately:
mountains + favourite humans (optional) + good food + + unforgettable quality times + somehow getting married in between
…we’ll probably get along very well ⛰️

1/3: I might be slightly biased, but pretty much everything is better in the mountains. Weddings included 😌⛰️

And no, I don’t think you need to hike for three hours before sunrise to call it a mountain wedding.

Take the gondola. Or a heli ride. Get married next to a mountain hut. Ski there. Bring 50 people. Bring five. Stay for dinner. Stay for sunset. Make an entire weekend out of it.

There are so many ways to get married in the Alps and THAT is probably what I love most about photographing weddings here.
It doesn’t have to become some huge expedition.

It just has to feel like a day you’d genuinely be excited to wake up to.

And if there happens to be a ridiculous mountain panorama behind you… well. I’m definitely not complaining.

The Dolomites don't need to be the most interesting thing about your elopement.

There. I said it.

Give me the lucky coin in your hiking shoe. Your dogs hanging from the bouquet. The traditions you kept. The ones you happily left at home. The champagne. The inside jokes. The details nobody else would understand.

Epic mountains are easy to fall in love with.

Making the photographs feel like you? That's the good part.

This day was supposed to look quite different.

M & M came to the Berchtesgaden Alps to get married with just the two of them - no guests, no big schedule, just a day built around each other and the mountains.

And then the mountains did what mountains do 😄
Fog, clouds, changing plans.

Initially planned location disappeared completely, Jenner suddenly became the better option, so we switched mountains.

Wedding dress, bouquet packed into a hiking backpack, gondola up… and still: fog. Lots of it 😅

We sat down for something warm, watched mountains appear and disappear again and waited.

And then suddenly there was a window.
So we went.

About twenty minutes up the trail in hiking boots and wedding clothes - and somewhere above the clouds, the mountains finally showed themselves.

Not exactly according to plan.
Probably better 🤍

And now one photograph from this beautifully unpredictable day has been nominated for the Braut Foto Award 2026 - Category "Hochzeitspaar" (Wedding Couple) 🥹

Which feels pretty special, because this is exactly what I want EverWildHeart to stand for:

Not perfect wedding days.
Wedding days that feel like 𝙔𝙤𝙪.

And sometimes… trusting the weather, changing the plan and hiking straight into the clouds 🤍
