J&J knew exactly what they wanted, a simple wedding. We started with the first look and the Bride & Groom photo session. Their ceremony, although under the summer sunshine, was shaded for guests under massive umbrellas. We had a lovely extended cocktail hour followed by the reception. Dennis was their officiant and Planner but also stayed on as their Coordinator and MC. They wanted an interactive style of MC (which is Dennis’ specialty) so this was fun. We played a game to determine table orders which resulted in a lot of laughs and interaction. They also hired our DJ who played a customized playlist for them including some very obscure music they had requested. The bride was over the moon and ended the evening giving us all a big HUG which warmed up our hearts. See last image. We love these kind of clients as they really do allow us to do what we do best. They booked a number of different services with Dynamic Weddings for ease, convenience and savings. As a result, everything was streamlined and planning was so smooth.

H&M had a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking Deer lake and the cityscape in Burnaby, BC. Dennis had the pleasure of officiating this intimate and hilarious ceremony which matched their personalities perfectly! Prior to the ceremony, our Dynamic Weddings photographer captured an intimate first look followed by portraits. Once the ceremony was complete, it was time to celebrate with an outdoor cocktail hour at the Lakeside Cottage of the Hart House. Then it was time for dinner and dancing inside the tent. The night ended with a wonderful dance party and a great time had by all.

S&G are rock stars. Literally. They both met while playing music together as teenagers. Their first date was at a concert and they are still literal rock stars. I love how the bride brought out her rock star leather jacket for part of the photo shoot. The groom loved Hawks so the bride wanted to surprise him during the wedding ceremony with a hawk to deliver the rings. Although she just couldn’t find a service that provided this. That’s until she spoke to her Dynamic Weddings Planner. We promptly set her up with a falconer (Falconry service) who trains and handles falcons and other birds of prey. We were able to source a beautiful Harris’ Hawk. The groom was surprised and ecstatic to receive the rings via a Hawk. It made for amazing photos. To finish the ceremony off in style, we incorporated a Jewish tradition under the Chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy symbolizing home) where the bride and groom broke the glass by stomping on it. This is a Jewish wedding tradition where the breaking of the glass symbolizes the commitment of marriage.

J&H celebrated a holiday season wedding at the beautiful Teahouse Restaurant in Stanley Park. They wanted a small and intimate wedding celebration in a beautiful heritage venue close to a park. We helped them selected the Teahouse. They booked our elopement package. As they were so pleased with the service, they added more Photography and Day of Coordination time to extend into the reception. Everything went without a hitch and they couldn’t have been happier. Although the rain came during their photo session, we captured some spectacular rair ohotos under the umbrella with some skillful lighting techniques.

L&G both had their parents in town for the week so thought that there wouldn’t be a better time to celebrate their love and make it official. The easiest and most cost effective way to tie the knot was to book a Dynamic Weddings elopement package. It included Planning, Coordination, Officiant, Photography, Archway, Flowers, Signing table, chairs and music. We helped them find the location they loved and the rest was history. A short photo shoot and wedding before they went off to dinner to celebrate with family and friends. Congrats to the happy couple
