Life's been tough lately, and if I'm honest, it's taken every bit of energy just to show up.

It's hard being the happy, bouncy face painter when your heart is quietly carrying so much grief.

Today, sweet Judi Walker surprised me at the markets with this beautiful rainbow scarf from SunniDaiz Crochet Designs and it completely brightened my day... even though it also made me burst into tears. ❤️🌈

There's something strangely comforting about having your pain seen and acknowledged. Not because it makes the hurt disappear, but because it reminds you that you're not carrying it alone.

Thank you, Judi, for your kindness. I'll treasure this scarf and remember even after the darkest storms, colour still exists. 💕🌈

I'm sorry for dropping the business ball lately.

Last week, I lost my beloved dog Clifford and am still trying to come to terms with the grief that comes with losing such a huge part of my life. Because of that, replies to messages and emails have been slower than usual, and we’ve unfortunately made a few booking mistakes recently due to the brain fog and exhaustion that grief can bring.

Running a small business while navigating heartbreak has been incredibly difficult. Rhi is a one woman show behind everything you see here, and right now she's just doing her best to balance work, rest, and grieving the loss of a very loved family member.

I've had a few hurtful responses when trying to explain the situation, including “it’s just a dog.” To us, Clifford was never “just a dog” — he was family, a best friend, and part of daily life for almost a decade.

I truly appreciate everyone who has shown patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.

Please bear with me while I adjust to a new reality without my beautiful boy. 💔
