🎥✨ What a day we had yesterday at the Monaghan Street Food Festival! From amazing food and live demos to music, stilt walkers, and family fun – the streets of Monaghan were buzzing with energy.

A big shoutout to Brenda Ojay , a journalism and content creation student at MTU (and proud Monaghan local!), for capturing the spirit of the day in this brilliant highlight reel. 💚

Church Square to the Diamond was buzzing with energy, flavours, and laughter today – and it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing vendors who served up mouth-watering dishes, and our fantastic sponsors whose support helps bring this celebration to life. 💛

🌟✨ Tomorrow’s the big day — the Monaghan Street Food Festival is finally here! ✨🌟

From Church Square to The Diamond, the streets will be buzzing with flavour, fun, and free entertainment! With nearly 50 exhibitors, you’ll find everything from mouth-watering street food to local crafts.

👩‍🍳 Don’t miss the Castle Leslie Estate Demo Kitchen, where top chefs including Jeeny Maltese , Jonny Murphy, and Karl Breen will be cooking up inspiring dishes all afternoon.
🎶 Live music & entertainment
🥁 Festival opening with the O’Neill Pipe Band
🎨 Free kids’ face painting (1–4pm in Church Square)
🤹 Stilt walkers & street performers
👩‍🍳 Fun food workshops with The Cool Food School

We’re delighted to welcome members of the O’Neill Pipe Band to open this year’s festival! One the street around 11:30🎉

This incredible community band has been part of Monaghan life for over 50 years, training beginners in pipes and drums, and bringing music to parades and events across the county.

Join us at the very start of the festival to hear their stirring performance and feel the buzz as the celebrations begin! 🙌✨
