I met Caroline at the ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜€ ๐—›๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—น to create graduation portraits with old-world charm. She looked stunning in her emerald gown and just about everywhere in the Castle served as a delightful background.

Caroline had just submitted her last assignment which marked the end of the Law degree program at UCalgary. She is going into Criminal Law. You go, Queen! Culprits beware!

๐…๐ฎ๐ง ๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ: This bridge found along the Bow River Loop Trail in Canmore, AB, was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) in 1891. It was salvaged from another bridge that dates back to 1880.
The bridge has long been a beloved icon of the area and was made more famous by its appearance in the ๐—›๐—•๐—ข ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐™๐™๐™š ๐™‡๐™–๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐™ค๐™› ๐™๐™จ.

A Glamour Photoshoot...Rocky Mountain Style.
Creating unique portraits in the mountains, in the middle of winter, during a snowstorm, demands ๐™™๐™š๐™™๐™ž๐™˜๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ!

I try to keep my couples comfortable and happy. This requires lots of trips back and forth to the car to warm up.
It's a constant battle with batteriesโ€”camera, strobe light and radio trigger batteries, all die so quickly in the cold. My cameras are getting wet, my fingers are growing numb and the natural light is ever-changing and unpredictable.
Would I give it all up to have a cozy studio?
Honestly....๐™ข๐™–๐™ฎ๐™—๐™š! ๐Ÿ˜‚
But then, what indoor space could compete with this?
