When the sky opens after a cloudy day to give you an epic sunset for your vows..

It's actually a matter of planning to be at the right spot at the right time!

The sunrise and sunset are not going to wait for you and it's easy to miss out on them!

Tip: Know behind which mountain the sun is going to set behind at exactly what time. This is absolutely crucial to know before your elopement day!!

But no worries because I too LOVE those golden hour photos and strive to achieve them when going in full researching mode for my couples elopement timelines. 🤓

What to do on your adventure elopement day? Here are 8 Outdoor Activity Ideas:

1. Hiking or walking
2. Boatride or kayaking
3. Activities with animals (horses, dogs, alpacas etc.)

5. Picnic with your fave drinks

L+T are avid trail runners and wanted to include some fun outdoor activities on their elopement day in Switzerland! 🚣‍♂️

They started their day with a long hike, then dipped in the glacier lake, peddled the boat on the lake and then had their beautiful vows at sunset!

An unforgettable elopement in the Highlands of Iceland. ❤

We cannot have been more blessed with this couple who trusted us in capturing their awesome adventure elopement in Iceland last summer with photo & video.

S + E celebrated their love for each other in this amazing painted mountains scenery.

We started at sunrise, hiked in the afternoon and arrived in the mountains just in time for their quiet ceremony at sunset!

After that we hiked another mountain, popped a bottle and we ended up with some beers in the hot springs while watching the stars! 🌌

We can't wait to go back to Iceland in July 2022 and we still have some dates left there! Get in contact! 🤙

I'm here in Iceland and I photographed my first waterfall elopement!! 😍

I have no words to describe this magical elopement day... Jordan & Layton had their morning ceremony officiated by the amazing and the place was so silent, serene and very epic! We had so much fun and even the sun came out eventually! 🥰

3 Reasons to get married in the Winter! ❄️

Struggling to decide if you want to get married in the winter season, anywhere from November to March?

A winter elopement is for you two if you love:

Yesss, these two eloped last week! After being apart for almost a year these two finally reunited and got hitched! 💍

He was in Indonesia and she was in the Netherlands when covid happened. All they wanted was to see each other and start their lives together! And last week they finally made it happen and they celebrated it at the beach of Scheveningen! 🌊

And let me tell you.. their love was so strong that you can see the pure joy on every single photo!

PS: I'm obsessed with this pink wedding dress!! 😍

This bride loves Harry Potter movies and they wanted a unique wedding with a magical vibe! They personalized everything in a vintage, romantic style with bordeaux colors.

Their day started with their legal marriage in a beautiful castle, followed by their intimate vows in the forest (encountering some hikers) and it ended at a boho tent with their closest family & friends.

Their awesome wedding planner Pour tous les goûts listened to their ideas and made it all happen.

They couldn't have done it better because this day was all about them and that's what matters most! 💕

How to write your wedding vows? 5 simple tips to help you write your vows ⬇

1) Start with who this person is to you.
2) Think about 3 moments that made you feel the happiest & think about 3 hard moments that impacted you the most.
3) Pick the happiest moment and pick the hardest moment. What was your partners role in those moments? Write those down.
4) Think about what qualities mean the most to your partner and incorporate that in your promise.
5) Think about the funniest moment together that made you laugh your asses off!

It will be an emotional moment either way so just write from your heart and don't hold back! ❤
