This mix contains three massive Aussie tracks from Damo Cox – Wicked Wow, Tonky – Choc Mint and Wongo – Kamikazi. These have all been on repeat this year.

Wicked Wow has some great nostalgia with the samples used, and has a wonderful disjointedness to it that seems like it doesn't work but definitely does. It has a great surprise for the final drop that keeps you guessing while dancing.

Choc Mint is a solid, thick banger and gets your ass moving. The bass line makes me want to lift my head up and down with a smile on my face.

Kamikazi — I dare you not to dance to this track. I love how the highs take centre stage, with a subtle reverb or echo that gives it that classic 80s futuristic feel. It’s rooted in the past, but we’re in the future, listening to contemporary tech house.

Some of my favorite tracks from 2024, mixed together. Three banger deBasement tracks are woven throughout, with Confidence Man (CONman) bringing the energy in the middle. The set starts around 130 BPM and builds up to 150.

deBasement is my pick for 2024—I love their raw, hard-hitting sound. Their tracks give me punk vibes and even remind me of Nine Inch Nails
