Wow it's raining a bit out there! So inside today and I've made some cards to go with bouquets, cleaned the bathroom and hoovered. Unfortunately we still have to do the mundane housework in between making these beautiful bouquets.

Yesterday's beautiful wedding flowers.

What do you think of my new backdrop? I'm very pleased as it makes the flowers stand out considering the lighting was awful!!
Taking good photos of my flowers is not something I'm very good at. I often forget because I'm so busy making sure everything is done. I then deliver the flowers and realise I have no photos!!

Anyway these pictures look ok. Let me know if you agree.

What a lovely sunny day. Relaid paths on the flower patch today. These have been down since I started so have worn pretty well but needed a refresh.
I was also planning on planting narcissus bulbs but these paths took longer than I thought. So bulb planting will be another day.
Always a job to do!!

Thank you so much for doing the flowers for our wedding last month. They are absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted, honestly I was over the moon with how they turned out.

I just love doing wedding flowers and being a small , but important, part of their special day.

This little gem is a bit late but I planted a batch of sunflower seeds much later in the hope they would be ready for a wedding at the beginning of September!!
Well of course they weren't were they!!
But enjoying them now although only about 2 feet tall. Actually ideal for bouquets.

I'm definitely planting loads more of these next year. A little earlier next year!!

Yes these are lupins and yes they are flowering now!! What is going on??

Foxgloves, Canterbury bells and sweet williams looking good.

Roses still flowering but will have to be cut back a bit soon ready for the winter.

Weeding in progress but on track to be all cleared soonish!!

At home in the greenhouse and garden are some lovely cornflower seedlings and grey poppies growing on nicely. I'm going to transfer delphiniums to larger pots for over winter and plant out in spring.

So busy, busy but all on track for next year.

Bright wedding bouquet and buttonholes. Just told the bouquet must include iris of some sort and be bright - so I think I hit the brief!!

I've got three weddings coming up in the next two weeks so I thought I'd dig out some of my previous beautiful wedding pictures to show you.

I'm always so happy when I get sent pictures of the flowers from the happy couples. They show the flowers off properly rather than me trying to hold the bouquet with one hand and clicking my phone with the other!!

So hopefully I'll be getting some more fabulous pictures to show you soon.
I just love doing wedding flowers. It's so special.

I am Jackie and have loved flowers, gardening and everything crafty ever since I can remember. As a child I would make up posies of flowers from the garden and sell to passers by. In 2020 I decided to follow my dreams and use the therapy of flowers to create natural and wild designs for others to enjoy.

Living for most of my life in a small Cambridgeshire village with a delightful mill and blossom on the trees it gave me the inspiration for the name. Walking in the woods and hedgerows with Herbie, my beloved Border Terrier gives me loads of ideas for different concepts and designs.

I buy my flowers from local flower farmers wherever possible as I am really passionate about supporting small businesses and helping the local community.
