Hillside Knot and Venue is planning a huge community event on October 17th! We are planning “Hope on the Hillside”.
First, and foremost, we want to provide attention to breast cancer awareness. By doing so, we have planned a full day of events that will be fun for the public and shine a light on this terrible disease.
Hillside Knot and Venue will make a donation to Betty’s Brave and Beautiful Hearts Foundation. This foundation supports individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. Many people from our region have benefited from their foundation.
We will honor those that have survived breast cancer, those that are currently fighting breast cancer, and remembering loved ones that had breast cancer. A large basket full of donated items from our community members will be given to a breast cancer survivor during the day through a drawing. The recipient must be present to win. If you would like to donate, please contact Michelle Gayheart or message us at Hillside Knot and Venue.
Joining us on October 17th is South of 80! This local band is exploding on the scene and have played at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Restaurant in Gatlinburg among many other venues.
In addition to music, we will have Smoke Rollin’ and Berry Me in Chocolate as our food vendors.
Also, we will be hosting a corn hole tournament, vendor event, and split the pot.
Plan to join us on October 17th and wear PINK! If anyone would like to make a donation to breast cancer awareness, they can do so that day.
