What a truly incredible Icycle6!

There are so many people to thank for making the event what it is, but special mentions to Core Health & Fitness for lending us the beautiful Schwinn Z bikes for the stage, Cara and Damien Bouttell for their incredible work transporting bikes for us, Ben at LP Removals, Nuffield Health for the loan of the bikes and hosting us at their beautiful studio and Wendy Mangan our Nuffield liaison all the Nuffield staff and special shout out to the DM last night who was so supportive and helpful. Aspire for the loan of their bikes, Avenue services the sound and light team, Chris Anderson our videographer, Agne Kucinskiene our photographer, Bluestep for the incredible kit for our presenters and T-shirts for participants, All at The Salvation Army our charity partner this year, Parag Mehta for the incredible goodie bags, Iain Johnson and all the other Nuffield members and others involved in the event who helped on the day carry bikes and more. Nancy Carlucci and The Zimmerman girls and Dad Daniel Zimmerman for all their help on the day, on reception and providing lunch. All of the shadow riders who did an incredible job supporting our presenters on stage. Tony Daniels our wonderful sax player.

Ofcourse our truly incredible presenter team who made the event - Andrei Penu, Marius Musat, Stefana Mihăiloaie, José Luis Sanz Guzmán, João Filipe Soares, Lucian Moldovan, Moldovan Orsolya Éva (you were with us in spirit), Emma Speir, Angela Carlucci, Claire Zimmerman, Hannah Ellis, Cara Bouttell, Lou Atkinson, Arnau Canet Bilbao who spent months preparing their awesome presentations for the day.

Stefano Ruggeri for being an inspiration to us all who without whom these events would never happen.

But lastly and most importantly we would like to thank all of you the amazing participants whose enthusiasm, love and dedication to Icycle6 made it another wonderful year and without your loyal support we could not make it happen.

The last “Girl Power” themed ride has a dream team of Instructors presenting this 60 minute high end special - Emma Haughey, Claire Zimmerman and Angela Carlucci.

Movement and health is a passion for Emma. As a dancer from a young age she became a gym bunny, qualifying in indoor cycling over 10 years ago, then as a personal trainer and a yoga teacher. She has presented at several charity indoor cycling events and works with a varied range of clients. Previously working as a homicide detective in London she can’t promise to not kill you off, but her energy is infectious and she will deliver an epic ride! Let her power and passion guide you through.

Claire has been a personal trainer and indoor cycling instructor for almost 15 years. Although Claire is qualified with Stages and ICG, she always finds herself back where her heart lies, with the Schwinn family! It always astounds her the power of group cycling. Claire's love for music and the energy it brings is a big driver in her classes that will leave you feeling proud, strong, endorphin-high and wanting to come back for more -it's addictive!

Angela co owned the late great Cyclezone Studio with Master Instructor Stefano Ruggeri where Emma and Claire both taught. Angela qualified as a Gold level instructor in 2019 and for the last 6 years has hosted the iconic ICYCLE Indoor Cycling event with the support of Core Health & Fitness. Angela's love and passion for indoor cycling is kept alive by the enthusiasm of her riders and the absolute loyalty and commitment they show her week after week by attending her classes.

This concluding high end ride will be motivating, engaging and full of passion - expect it to be full of fun but also fierce and be ready to give your very best.

We are delighted to welcome back to ICYCLE the kings of music João Filipe Soares and Arnau Canet Bilbao. João, a Schwinn Master, has trained over 420 instructors and has a strong academic background in sport including a degree in Sports Science and a Master’s in Physical Education. He worked for 15 years in the biggest Portuguese gym and was responsible for Schwinn Education in Portugal until 2016 when he moved to Italy and is currently responsible for Schwinn Education Italy. He has taken part and organised many international events and is known for his incredible music. João is also CEO and Lead Artist at Flow Sounds, one of the most successful and highly regarded Indoor Cycling Music Production agencies.

He will be joined on stage again by Arnau Canet Bilbao. Born in Barcelona, Arnau’s whole life has been surrounded by sports and music. Since he was very young, he has practiced sports such as swimming and triathlon while studying music. All this has led him to awaken a great interest in the connection of both disciplines. Arnau is a Master Instructor not only in Schwinn Cycling but also HIIT, Strength Training and Cardio. He studied Musicology and music production and as well as presenting and teaching Schwinn classes he often trains trainers on the International stage in music and fitness.

They own Heart Cycling Studio in Romania, organize international fitness events, and inspire people towards a healthy lifestyle.
