As these two recently celebrated another anniversary, I thought it was the perfect time to look back on Catherine and Chandler’s wedding day at Kenwood Country Club.

Many would agree that friendship is one of the best foundations for a lasting marriage. 🤍

Leah and Nick met in grade school at St. Bernard School and have been friends ever since. Over the years, that friendship grew into something more, and yesterday, they returned to the very place where their story began to become husband and wife. It was such a sweet, full-circle moment.

Their day was classic and timeless, with a black-and-white palette, delicate lace accents, and meaningful details woven throughout. The groom’s ring belonged to his grandfather, and after the ceremony, Leah and Nick departed the church as newlyweds in the bride’s grandfather’s antique car. I love when a wedding includes pieces of a family’s story like this.

A little intermittent rain couldn’t dampen their excitement to celebrate with their favorite people, their pup Scout, and one very special guest — the Bengals Who Dey mascot!

Congratulations, Leah and Nick! What a joy it was to capture the beginning of this next chapter for y’all.

One of my favorite things is when couples incorporate little pieces of their story into their engagement session. 🤍

For these Meghan and Ryan, that meant starting out at Ault Park then stopping at the cocktail bar Anjou Cocktail Bar where they shared their first date and where he later proposed. How special is that?!

I love when a session becomes more than simply taking beautiful photos together. It becomes a way to revisit the places, memories, and little moments that have brought you to this season. 🤍

I can’t wait to celebrate these two in 2027!

There is something so special about getting to document a family’s story over the years. 🤍

Ten years ago, I met Alexa and Greg and had the joy of photographing their engagement session, including their sweet pup, Mr. Boone. As fellow UK alumni, we share a special love for Lexington, which made documenting their beautiful, timeless wedding at Keeneland all the more meaningful.

And then, the years unfolded.

They reached out again when they were expecting their first baby, and I had the joy of capturing his newborn photos, his first birthday milestone session, and a maternity session as they prepared to welcome baby #2.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of documenting the arrival of babies #2, #3, and #4, including each of their newborn sessions.

Looking back over the past decade, I am truly in awe of the privilege of preserving so many of this family’s milestones. From the beginning of their love story to the beautiful family they’ve built, getting to document it all is something I never take for granted.

I’m excited to continue to pursue something I’ve always loved: capturing your story as it unfolds — from the excitement of your engagement to your wedding day and all the sweet seasons of growing your family.

Introducing the Zieglers ✨

Ben and Rachel first met in 7th grade. Different middle schools, different colleges, different chapters of life — but somehow, their paths kept finding their way back to each other.

A Covid-era weekend at a lake house with friends brought them back together, and they have been together ever since. Ben proposed in front of the Washington Monument in DC exactly one year before they said “I do.”

From getting ready at the groom’s childhood home, to a candlelit evening, deep w**e reds, lush greens, beautiful florals, a room full of the people they love most — and more than anything, a celebration with all of the people who have been a part of their story.

So much laughter, so much fun, surrounded by so many familiar faces, and a whole lot of love.

Just the beginning of forever for these two. 🤍
