Cosmo is preparing for one of the coolest events of the year, Oakenmist Renaissance Faire, located at the Howard County Fairgrounds! If you went last year, you'll be pleased to know that this year, it's going to be even BIGGER and BETTER!
This is an indoor, air-conditioned event - so no excuses! Come on out and take a look at all of the AMAZING activities in store for this 2-day event!
- Learn how to brew your own mead and indulge in the 5,000 sq. foot mead garden with different types of mead, hard cider, braggot (mead + beer), and cyser (mead + cyder)
- Education programs from Dragonwings Aviary and raptors
- Instructional magicians
- A teaching juggler
- Learn various new dance forms
- Try playing a harp with the Harp Mistress
- A whip cracking mentor
- Learn about embroidery, smithing, sewing, crafting, archery, and combat magic
- Participate in LARP games such as Amtgard and Darkon
