Ö-MAPPI XVIII 🛸MATKALAISET🛸

Shared journey into the unknown.

Thank you to every traveller who stepped through the door, danced until the morning, shared a smile, a moment, a strange encounter or simply lost themselves in the music.

Thank you to the artists, DJs, VJs, decorators and everyone behind the scenes who helped and made this journey possible.

For 8 hours, we left the ordinary world behind.

We travelled far together.
We left as part of the same story.

The signal has faded.
The lights are down.
The memories remain.

Until the next episode. 🛸

✨ WHISPERS OF GEOMETRY ✨

Light into the darkness.

Two new works, sharing the same pattern. Layer by layer, line by line, the geometry begins to create an illusion of movement — twisting around the centre and unfolding into something that feels almost organic.

What fascinates me about this technique is how repetition can create movement, and how a small change in colour can completely transform the feeling of the same form.

50 × 70 cm each

Same structure.
Endless possibilities.

🔥 PSY NIGHT RADIO #20 — OUT NOW! 🔥

The latest episode of Psy Night Radio is now out!

This time, the entire hour is dedicated to DJ Hendrix from Lahti, Finland.

Hendrix’s musical journey has taken him through many different worlds — from metalcore vocals to rap with ASSO, and later from hard techno and organic house into psychedelic music.

He is also one of the founding members of EMR – Ei Mitään Rajaa, a collective built around breaking boundaries and giving creativity room to move.

For this episode, Hendrix takes us somewhere darker.

His one-hour DJ set explores the Forest / Dark Psy side of psychedelic trance, bringing together hypnotic rhythms, organic textures, strange atmospheres and deep psychedelic movement.

A set built around energy, authenticity and the connection between the music and the dancefloor.

ILLUSION BLOOM IN FLUX 🌸✨

I got inspired again as autumn arrived and found my way back to string art.

This piece carries something familiar from my previous work, but with a new colour palette, a pink background and a slightly different rhythm in the geometry. What starts as simple lines and repetition slowly turns into something that feels almost alive.

And this one changes with the light. ✨

I’ll be sharing photos of the piece under different LED and UV lighting, because each light brings out something new — different colours, details and moods hiding within the same geometry.

40 × 50 cm

With events coming up in October and an exhibition in November, I’m feeling more and more motivated to keep creating and exploring where this string art can go.

Same fascination.
New colours.
A different kind of bloom.

Stare long enough and it begins to move. 🌀

👽 Ö-MAPPI 18: MATKALAISET 👽

Saturday 3.10.2026 | 22:00–06:00

From somewhere in the darkness between the stars, a connection has opened — one that cannot be found on any known map.

17 cases have already been recorded in the Ö-Mappi folder.
But this one is different.

MATKALAISET.

Where do they come from?
What are they looking for?
And why does their arrival coincide with this particular night?

3.10.2026, the signal activates once again.

A continuous musical journey through the night moving between techno, suomisaundi, psytrance and drum & bass. As the rhythm takes over, it may become difficult to tell where one world ends and another begins.

Maybe it’s just music.
Maybe it’s a journey.
The truth may not be found in the files.

It will be found on the dancefloor.

🎧 Psy Night Radio #19

🔥 Pootis & Cosmic Soul 🔥

Psy Night Radio returns with episode #19, and this time the entire hour is handed over to a duo brought together by a shared love for full-on psytrance and a strong connection behind the decks.

Pootis & Cosmic Soul first came together through playing at the same events and quickly discovered a natural chemistry between their musical tastes, energy and approach to psytrance. Pootis brings around a decade of experience behind the decks, while Cosmic Soul represents a newer force in the Finnish psytrance scene. Both are part of the CLH Records family.

Their shared momentum has already taken them to the Vortex stage at Kosmos Festival 2025 and Forest Star Festival in Sweden 2026, alongside numerous smaller events and venues around Finland.

For Psy Night Radio, they deliver a full-on psytrance journey packed with rolling basslines, psychedelic melodies, driving grooves and cosmic textures. Expect energetic and melodic moments, funky grooves and darker psychedelic shades — all tied together by a strong forward-moving flow.

One duo.
One hour.
Full-on psychedelic energy.

🎧 Psy Night Radio w/ Crystal Ahmed

🔥Out Now🔥

Psy Night Radio returns with episode 17, once again broadcasting through the Konekellari frequencies.

This month's journey is split into two distinct chapters.

The first half-hour comes from Papa Psy, delivering a psychedelic trance session built around rolling grooves, driving energy and hypnotic movement.

A warm-up transmission designed to set the course before heading deeper into the night.

For the second half of the show, the controls are handed over to Crystal Ahmed.

Based in Finland, Crystal Ahmed is a psytrance DJ whose sound explores the meeting point between psychedelic dance music and the cultural landscapes of North Africa, West Asia and traditional music cultures from around the world.

After discovering psytrance in 2020, he was drawn to its unique ability to unite rhythms, stories and influences from different backgrounds into a shared experience.

Beyond DJing, Ahmed is an active contributor to Finland's alternative culture scene through projects and events such as Marsupotamia, Helsinki Decompression, Kosmos Festival and Alppimuisto Open Air.

Many may also know him from his drum & bass project, Liquid Ahmed.

His guest mix for Psy Night Radio blends hypnotic grooves, tribal percussion and immersive psychedelic atmospheres. Influenced by traditional instruments and rhythmic storytelling, the set moves organically between deep, danceable moments and culturally rich sonic textures, creating a journey that feels both global and deeply personal.

Two perspectives.
Two journeys.
One frequency.
