Been teaching Lukas how to play chess, just like my dad thought me the game. He told me then, that chess is like life. A lot of the things you learn within the game will help how to navigate your everyday decisions. Thinking ahead/planning is probably the most important but not underestimating a piece is so underrated. My dad told me “queen is just a pawn with a lot of fancy moves, it’s all about timing and position. I am also learning to find the love of the game all over again. It’s a win, win!
Green tea crème brule for one of our clients Lunar Dinner Celebration. It’s been a while since I made creme brule and torched them. I guess doing hundreds of them before is paying off now.
