SLOTJHILE PUB AND SHISANYAMA TO CLOSE PERMANENTLY IN TEMBISA.

Popular local establishment Slotjhile Pub and Shisanyama has announced its permanent closure, ending an eight-year presence in the Tembisa community.
In a statement issued by management, the business said the decision was taken after “careful consideration of all relevant factors,” describing the closure as difficult but necessary.

Slotjhile Pub and Shisanyama has been operating in Tembisa for eight years and was known as a social hub for dining, celebration and community interaction.

Management confirmed that all affected employees will not be retrenched, but will instead be redeployed and allocated to the company’s remaining operational outlets.

The business also highlighted its contribution to the local community through employment, partnerships and community support initiatives, expressing gratitude to customers, staff, suppliers and community partners for
their support over the years.

“While this decision marks the end of an important chapter, it was not taken lightly,” the statement said.
Slotjhile Pub and Shisanyama thanked the Tembisa community for its continued support and wished residents well going forward.
