Apparently today is . I almost didn't make a post because I was trying to find the perfect photo to post but there wasn't just one and there's a good reason for that.

Photography for me has been a way to
1. Express myself creatively
2. Capture one of a kind moments
3. Highlight and enjoy our culture
4. Help families create and share memories
5. Help professionals represent themselves well.

So these images help to highlight a few of the reasons I love photography but there's so much more.

Why do you love photography?

One of the things I enjoy about portrait sessions is getting to know a little about my clients beforehand. Getting to know who they are and what they'd like their images to say helps me to paint a picture in my mind and we then bring that to light at their session.

For her session mentioned that she wanted her images to say 'Grown, Elegant & Sexy' and this is what we came up with.

Had the opportunity to do my first prom in a while when Gabby's uncle contacted me a couple weeks ago. After a brief walk around the property I knew where we would shoot to both complement their outfits and keep them cool despite being outdoors.

You know my first post after all the Kinky Project stuff had to be a good one.

I shot the ever talented a while ago and could not wait to post these. We wanted to do a mix of classy and casual looks and this is what we came up with.

Now that I've had a little time to breathe I'd really like to thank everyone that made last week's showing a success. Thank you to all of the models, and @ for the makeup, and Fine Image for our printing, the team for everything , and for the coverage and everyone who made it out to view, participate or otherwise support.

Our Story

My name is Torrell Glinton and i’ve worked as a photographer for the past 10 years. My experience in photojournalism allows me to quickly assess situations and provide imagery that is candid and captivating.

My favourite branches of photography are couples/family and beauty photography. To showcase my love of beauty photography i stared The Kinky Project; a photo series highlighting the beauty of natural (unrelaxed) hair.
