All the way from Colombia, Zemög turns up in our weekly podcast series with a vengeance. Explosive and sharp, this two-hour salvo summons a versatile array of floor-busting ordnance: from acid-soaked heaters to atmospheric escapology, through proto-techno chuggers and non-formulaic, abstract-leaning grooves. Boasting a deft hand for these full-immersion sorties into techno deep space, this mix swings the pendulum betwixt laser-like engineering and eerily synthetic emotion, beckoning us onto the path of total subjugation in a near-somnambular state. Enjoying these last few days in my hometown with my love Emily, after an intense few months on tour. Feeling incredibly fortunate for all the experiences I’ve lived this year, one of the best of my life. Thank you to everyone who supported my work from all corners around the world, to those who attended the events in every country I visited, to the organizers and clubs that welcomed me and made me feel at home, to those who buy my music or listen to it daily, to the artists who support me, to my collective Matteria for working together to grow our scene and allowing me to develop as a visual artist as well, to Garden Club for giving me the honor of curating events there and keeping underground alive, to everyone who believes in Tepuy Records, to Essense agency for all their professional work representing me; and to my love Emily and family for the constant motivation. Being Colombian and having the opportunity to travel the world playing music is a privilege, and I’m so grateful for it.
