Over the years, it has been fascinating to witness how Vietnam’s watch community has evolved. What was once a niche passion has grown into a sophisticated culture of collecting, where appreciation extends far beyond brands and complications to heritage, craftsmanship, and the stories behind each creation.
For me, the true value of horology has always been the connections it creates — conversations between collectors, friendships built through shared passions, and the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next.
Vietnam Watch Days feels like a natural reflection of that journey, bringing together people who understand that a great timepiece is not simply about telling time, but about preserving memories, celebrating artistry, and connecting with something enduring.
⭐️Connecting Horology to Vietnam’s Watch Collectors⭐️
Vietnam, often referred to as Asia's Last Dragon, has emerged as one of the region's most exciting luxury markets. Home to 100 million people and a rapidly growing affluent population, the country continues to attract global brands seeking new opportunities in Southeast Asia.
Influenced by French heritage, American lifestyle, a returning overseas Vietnamese community, and an increasing appreciation for craftsmanship and refined living, Vietnam's passion for fine watchmaking continues to grow.
Launching this November in Ho Chi Minh City by Oriental Media Vietnam “Vietnam Watch Days” is a curated platform dedicated to horology, craftsmanship, and collecting. Bringing together maisons, independent watchmakers, retailers, media, and enthusiasts, the programme will feature showcases, collector roundtables, educational masterclasses, private dinners, one-to-one appointments, and market introductions.
Designed to encourage dialogue, knowledge exchange, business development, and relationship building, the gathering also offers opportunities to connect with potential retail and distribution partners in Vietnam.
