Once again the experiences that I heard today where truly shocking.

At 12pm every Saturday, MMIWG2S rallies are being held across Canada. I witnessed the rally at Centennial Sqaure, Victoria BC.

MMIWG2S - Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirits

Every Saturday 12pm @ Centennial Square Victoria BC MMIWG2S TAKE BACK CANADA are holding rallies demanding 231 Calls for Justice for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirits.

The reality is truly shocking and I urge everyone to educate themselves, spread awareness, and support our fellow humans in creating positive change.

I'm very privileged that these experiences aren't my lived reality and I want to be very clear that I'm involved is to help amplify the voices of people are who have lived experiences and understand the issues.

Big Jubba’s Yak Shak - Series - Episode 3 Ft Bryan Mclean

In this episode of the Series, I get to talk about an issue that has an enormous effect on everyone involved in Live Events. From the punters to the council and from the organisers to the local residents, the issue of Onsite Noise Levels effects them all!

To better understand the inner workings of festival noise management, we are very luckly that Bryan Mclean was up for chat. Apart from being a certified sound system guru, Bryan Mclean has a unique insite into the world of Noise Management through his recent work as a “Noise Liasion” at a number of UK Music Festivals including Boomtown, Balter and Port Elliot. I really enjoyed this interview as we get to chat about Bryans past and just have a good laugh!

Whilst I worked as a sound engineer I’m generally responabile for phsyicially turning it down and because of this I can receive a lot of unwanted attention. So I’m very happy to set a few thing strait and say my bit. I also tell a story of my many mistakes and share some positive news about people doinging awesome things.
