Weekly class for complete beginners who want to get behind the decks and understand how DJs actually create a set.

You’ll learn:
* How DJ equipment works
* The basics of beat matching and transitions
* How to build energy and keep a crowd engaged
* Plus plenty of time to ask questions and try it yourself.

If you already know the basics, you’re welcome too. Come refine your technique, ask questions, and gain practical tips from Bruno.

A short, exciting, and experimental event where strangers come together to make a film.

Participants will be put into teams of 2-3 (ideally with people they’ve never met before). You’ll have 2 hours to make a tiny film from scratch.

Each team will receive a prompt, a specific film making constraint, and a line of dialogue that needs to appear in the film.

Teams are given time to write, shoot, and edit. Teams can shoot wherever they like, even step outside Reality. At the end, everyone comes back and we premiere all the films together.

~35 public events in the coming week, and more added to our calendar every day. The best way to stay up-to-date with everything at REALITY is (of course) our app, but:

TODAY:
This morning kicks off with Coffee + Conversation, a weekly experience-sharing event for people wanting to make connections over meaningful talk.

Teen Hangout is for people 13-17 to chat, play board games, and, you know, hang. Parents are welcome to hang out elsewhere in the building, and perhaps enjoy a beverage or two.

The AI Dojo is a new series that not only introduces you to actually building stuff with AI, but step-by-steps you through the process of creating and deploying an app, all in 90 minutes. This week, Benji shows you how to make a productivity timer and get it live online. Laptop required!

GeoGuessr will be going on hiatus for a few weeks while Raluca travels, so get it while it's here! Bring a laptop or tablet for best locating experience.

Our dear friend Shane and our dear friend Scott have conspired to share a birthday party, and everyone is invited. We'll be doling out some free shots and introducing people to each other, but if you're looking for pals, we highly recommend coming (and dressing fashionable + formal, if you can swing it).

+ upstairs, well it wouldn't be Thursday without KARAOKE! All languages + all skill levels more than welcome.
