TANGO - What Brings Us Together?

Today, tango is evolving faster than ever. Each of us is discovering a different path. Different perspective. Different communities. Different music interpreted. Different ideas.
There is no longer only one way to understand tango. Perhaps that is exactly what makes tango so alive.

Throughout the year, each of us quietly grows in our own corner of the world. We practise. We have fun. We discover something new. We begin to change our favor of music. We experiences embrace differently. Till we have a chance to meet to share what we found
Sometimes, a single tanda says more than a long conversation. An embrace feels warm and understanding, the music opens in a new way.
We leave that tanda carrying new questions, new inspiration, and a little more understanding than before. Perhaps this is why we are willing to travel thousands of kilometres, year after year. Not only for a dance but to continue a conversation that never really ends. Maybe what brings us together is not that we dance the same tango. Maybe what brings us together is our shared curiosity to keep exploring itโ€”together. And perhaps that is where every shared horizon begins.

We would love to introduce you to another side of HOI AN
When people think of Hoi An, they often think of lanterns, the old town, and tourism. But beyond that, there is another Hoi An โ€” the daily life of local people, the rice fields, the open sky, and the rhythm of a farming community that has shaped this land for generations.
What inspired us was not only the scenery itself, but also the energy behind it. A simple life which have their own difficulties or pressure of course but connected to nature in a way that many modern cities have gradually no longer feel.

The green season, the open horizon, the fresh air, and the slower rhythm of life offer a different perspective of Hoi an โ€” one that cannot be found in guidebooks alone.
As we continue to prepared for VTM9, we hope to share not only tango, but also the atmosphere, people, and spirit of the place that welcomes us.
