is looking for someone who can be onsite for rehearsals and help with the behind-the-scenes prep for upcoming weddings during that time.

This would include opening the barn for the rehearsal, being onsite while the rehearsal takes place, and helping with any setup or preparation needed to have the venue ready for the wedding the following day.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and enjoys being around weddings and events. Theres a handful of dates needing to be filled and others would be on an as-needed basis for the remainder of the year, based on our rehearsal and wedding schedule.

A little behind the scenes of opening the barn for a free event today.

We’re truly grateful to be able to give back and open our doors, but “free” doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot happening behind the scenes.

It starts with phone calls, questions, planning meetings, figuring out layouts, lending linens, setting up lights, moving tables and chairs, restocking bathrooms, adjusting the AC, and being available throughout the event to help protect and care for the barn.

We do it with a giving heart, not a complaining one. 🤍 We just want to show that there’s a lot of time, work, and preparation that goes into making an event feel effortless.

We’re honored to be able to serve our community in this way.

Because honestly… she’s pretty beautiful all on her own.

The timber frame, tall ceilings, natural wood, polished concrete floors, balcony, patio, and all that open space make McGranahan Barn a pretty incredible blank canvas.

And then the fun begins.

Every couple brings their own vision, their own style, and their own story—and somehow this same barn looks completely different every time.

This is where we start…

Because from here, it only goes up.

14 Years of This

Sometimes running a wedding venue can look easy from the outside.

But there is so much that happens behind the scenes that most people never see, before, during, and long after the event.

The planning, maintenance, staffing, cleaning, client communication, unexpected problems, constant improvements, and a thousand little details all add up.

I’m 14 years into this, and I’ll be the first to say it’s not easy. But I’m proud of everything that goes into making each event special.
