Lola’s Backstory 💛⬇️🎈
On December 30th, 2023 Pheng and Kristine received the most devastating news that their two year old miracle child, Ellora, was diagnosed with cancer. What was expected to be a quick ER visit turned into a heart breaking 27 day stay at the hospital.
Because of a suspicious rash (petechiae)formed on Lola’s hand on 12/29/23, they took Lola into the ER to be tested. Blood work was done along with other testings and hours later they were told by the doctor that she had ITP, an auto immune disorder. But after receiving a blood transfusion they were later admitted into a room at the hospital and were then told she most likely had leukemia. The next few days were a whirlwind of testing and procedures to determine what type of leukemia and at what degree.
Treatment started right away after doctors determined it was B cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. She is currently home and in phase 2 of her treatment and showing every one daily how strong she truly is.
