Recently a family member and a friend asked me why I blocked them. I was confused. I checked just in case and there were no blocked people on my list. Then I see this. Hmmm, I am not the only one. So now I am fixing my blocked posts. I wondered where everybody had been! This is good to know. It's ridiculous to have over 300 friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts. I ignored this post earlier because I didn’t think it worked. It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts...okay here goes....HELLO. To regain friends in your news feed and get rid of ads - Hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’ Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field. Click paste. This upgrades the system.

I updated again today, as my entire feed was ads. After I did this, yeah I see everyone again. I’m not sure how it works, but it did.

Some of us have woken today feeling happy. Some of us have woken feeling defeated. Some have woken feeling ambivalent that we didn’t have better options. The point is we have woken up. So I’m asking all of you to please be thoughtful, kind and mindful. Stop all the negative talking. I have never been one to post my political opinions. My place in life is not to try to change your mind. But I am challenging each of you to practice kindness. Let the person behind you in the grocery line go before you (even if they have more items) it’s a simple kind gesture that costs nothing but a few minutes. Smile as you pass people walking. Think before you share negative thoughts. And lastly but most importantly think of our veterans. Pray for them. If you are able, do something so that they know they are thought of and cared for. Without them we wouldn’t have this day.

While it’s probably one of the difficult times to be an event organizer, I’m confident the world will still need events once social distancing becomes a thing of the past. People are going to be ready more than ever to get back to events after the virus is contained and life starts to settle into a new normal. As your event planne I will be here, ready to return to what we do best: Creating experiences that bring people together.
