FABLE was always meant to be about more than putting authors behind tables and readers in front of them.

It was about building an entire weekend around books, stories, creativity, discovery, and the people who keep this community growing.

And was an important part of helping us bring that weekend to life.

As an independent publisher built around helping stories take root and giving authors the support to bring those stories fully into the world, Bluebonnet represents so much of what we wanted FABLE to celebrate: authors taking chances, readers discovering something new, and an indie book community that keeps getting bigger, louder, and more creative.

Their sponsorship helped us build the pieces that made FABLE feel like more than a signing. The programming, activities, experiences, and all of those extra details that gave authors and readers more reasons to connect, explore, and stay awhile were possible because we had businesses willing to believe in what we were creating.

Bluebonnet Books Publishing was one of them.

REVISED SATURDAY SCHEDULE *In my big announcer voice*

Due to staff surprise babies, and an unfortunate hospital visit we did have to make some changes to our schedule and side quests. The who dunnit and bookboyfriend are going to be set for another con. Congratulations to our book boyfriend on the baby, and get well soon to our scavenger hunt extraordinaire.

So throughout the day, we have added a book club chit chat, s**t libs, and fantasy book trivia!

We can already feel the butterflies. FABLE BookCon is happening July 31 - August 1, and today we're spotlighting two authors you'll want to add to your must-meet list.

Rosalyn Stirling writes steamy, dark romantasy that readers describe as ACOTAR meets The Witcher. If you love stories where love wins against impossible odds (and let's be honest, we all secretly want the villain to get the girl sometimes), she is your author. Catch her wandering the halls with tea in hand, probably already dreaming up her next world.

Abigail Henson brings rich, imaginative fantasy storytelling to the table, especially through her book The Druids' Queen. Abby loves connecting with readers, sharing behind-the-scenes looks at her process, and talking all things books. When she is not writing, you will find her chasing down good coffee shops and bookstores, painting, woodburning, or trying to convince her basset hound Daisy Mae that writing time is not playtime (she has not been very successful).

Say hello to Jenny Allen, one of our attending authors at FABLE BookCon!

Jenny Allen works full-time as an RN on a Step-Down unit and is also an award-winning artist and author. Her works include The Lilith Adams Series (Supernatural forensic thrillers), the Draga & the Savage Novella series (Supernatural historical dark romance), and the Tennessee Charm Trilogy (Contemporary Rom-Coms). Mental Health is an element close to her heart, and she infuses it into her vivid style of writing to create dynamic and relatable characters.

She also draws all of her own character art in both photorealism and upscaled cartoon styles that breathe life into her characters.

Two more incredible authors are joining us, and we cannot wait for you to meet them!

Luz Evan Kanin grew up in Texas before trading it all in for life along the Atlantic. She's a lifelong reader who's spent years building worlds only reachable through ink and dreams. Catch her fueled by blueberry cake donuts, chips and queso, ramen, and enough cold brew to keep the stories flowing. She's also famously chaotic on social media, so go find her there.

Ruth Sanger made her debut in 2022 with The Price of Broken Magic, a book that started as a joke between friends and somehow grew into a full trilogy plus a bonus short story collection, co-written with E.R. Munley across ten years and two different countries. After wrapping the Statera Cycle, she released her solo novel Timing, a retelling of Jane Austen's Persuasion. When she's not writing, she's teaching music full time and performing on stage.
