The William Willis House, built in 1762, is significant for its associations with the early brick industry and the English Quaker Willis family, who was influential in 18th and 19th century York.

In 1976, Historic York, Inc. began restoring the Willis House. The restoration was completed in the 1980s and the property was eventually sold as a private home, and has been lovingly taken care of by private owners since. ❤
