We were SO excited when we received the news that we were selected amongst the countries best planners for the list 2024.

With over 40,000 nominations on their post, we are blown away that we were selected among the best. None of this is possible without the incredible talent of the vendor teams we collaborate with. Working with companies and individuals who partner with us to truly go above and beyond for our clients is the reason we are happily entering our 12th season as a company.

In fact, we have our first wedding of the season this weekend so this feels like the perfect way to kick off 2024.

N M W E U P D A T E

I am so thrilled to finally announce one of two very exciting happenings over at NMWE. In January, we officially welcomed our third full time planner, Ellen Lewis.

From being a solopreneur for 9 years, to bringing Abby on full time in 2021, to now having a team of 3, I am so incredibly grateful for these two ladies.

The patience they have with me while I navigate this new era of my company is so appreciated. They make every day much more fun and our couples are beyond lucky to have the support and expertise that the three of us bring to the table.

When I started this company in 2012 while working at , I had NO idea what the future would hold. I loved my couples at Sperry and knew I could be of more support to them while helping with their events from beginning to end.

Starting a company wasn’t an option I ever considered until my friend and coworker jessjolinphotography told me she was going to start her photography company. Hundreds of hours of research later, I launched NMWE and grew professionally, and personally, year after year.

I will never take our success for granted and, as a team, we will continuously strive to improve our services for our clients and our vendors year over year.

She and Sam chose one of our very favorite venues, , for their wedding venue because it felt “organic and earthy”.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
HP is a favorite of ours because it’s such a transformative space. We have designed many events here ranging from organic + earthy, clean + classic, modern + edgy, elegant + glamorous, and warm + cozy.

While we do not have a signature style that we apply to all of our events, we do have a signature APPROACH that envelopes seamless logistics + planning, curation of the wedding aesthetic, and flawless event ex*****on. 🤎

Rachael + Jack were married on a private estate in Westport Island, Maine in the peak of summer.

They knew they wanted an “elevated, coastal affair with stunning design, dreamy lighting, and an adventurous backdrop.” ⬅️ *took that straight from their design questionnaire that they filled out during the first week of working together!*

The attire for the affair was Formal Garden Party. Rachael explained on their wedding website “think fun bright colors, prints and patterns - an elevated backyard soiree!”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Happy One Month Anniversary to Jennie + John.

Jennie contacted me 12 weeks before her wedding when she and John made the decision to forgo their Lake Como wedding plans because of the pandemic.

They decided to celebrate their marriage at the groom’s historic family summer home on Bailey Island.

In twelve weeks, during the busiest wedding season any of us have experienced, we worked closely with the bride on curating the incredible vendor team, designing the aesthetic + mood for the celebration, while planning and organizing all of the details and logistics required for a successful and beautiful island wedding hosted at multiple locations.
