Tonight I had the opportunity to do a Bourbon & Cigar Night benefiting Echo Dog White Shepherd Rescue.

Good bourbon, ci**rs & a live bourbon auction, Most importantly, we were able to come together to support a really great cause raising money 💰.

A huge THANK YOU to my friends Jason and Marcy for jumping in and helping me tonight. I couldn’t have done it without you guys!

Cheers to a great night! 🥃

🥃 Beach & Bourbon 🌊

Barrell Bourbon Batch 036 is coming in hot at 114.44 proof — but you wouldn’t know it from how smoothly it drinks.

The nose is maple. Very sweet on the smell.

Taste - Black cherry & caramel

Finish - Toasted oak with a long, warm finish

Big flavor, a little sweet, and dangerously easy to drink for 114 proof. 8.8/10 for me.

And yes… sometimes the best bourbon glass is a coffee mug on the beach.

🥃 Four bourbons & chocolate pairings. Poolside setting.

Had a wonderful time leading a private bourbon tasting for a neighborhood group in Elizabethtown. Great pours, good conversation, and a perfect evening outside.

One of my favorite parts of hosting bourbon tastings is that they’re about so much more than bourbon.

Sunday, I had the honor of pouring four bourbons in memory of Bill—a beloved son, brother, and friend who passed away two years ago.

I never had the chance to know him, but through the stories, laughter, and memories shared around the table, it was clear how deeply he was loved. The love in that room was something special.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of such a meaningful tribute. Cheers to Bill. 🥃

Wolves × Willett 10-Year Rye

Orange peel, baking spice, caramel, and oak on the nose. Rich and balanced on the palate with notes of dark fruit, rye spice, and pepper. The finish is long, warm, and smooth, especially for 103 proof.

A beautifully crafted rye that’s complex, approachable, and easy to enjoy. 🥃

Thank you to all my friends for a great 40th bday gift.

Rich notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spices lead the way, followed by hints of dark fruit (cherry) and roasted nuts. The finish is long, warm, and pleasantly spicy. Well-balanced and complex, this single-barrel release delivers plenty of character without feeling overly hot.

Tonight reminded me that bourbon is about so much more than what’s in the glass. It’s about the conversations, the connections, and the stories that bring people together. I truly enjoy these intimate tastings where everyone gets to share their love of bourbon and a little piece of their own story. Grateful for another fantastic evening 🥃✨
