I get to see the groom's face up close when the bride is entering. Such sacred moments to be a part of.
Wedding Officiant | Welcoming all couples: all cultures, backgrounds, orientations & spirituality. I feel like I've found my new life calling as Reverend Cindy.
Officiating weddings is a 10 for me, as is being able to tell each couple's unique story creatively. I've been a singer/songwriter and a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader (celebrating 28 years in business). I'm playing around with art & weaving, and my icebreaker game is sold locally. Even though I loved being able to say, "I'm with the band," having the opportunity to celebrate love is pr
etty darn cool too. I love God and couples of every kind. I believe God loves everyone, and I respect my couples' beliefs, helping them express their own spirituality and lifestyle.

Make sure your groom's ring can be adjusted; it depends on the type of metal, and there are gorgeous options out there now. Enjoy some beauty at Jewelry by Johan
Is this not the cutest thing ever? Courtesy of Wedding Forward.
Exactly. I love getting to know my couples!!! So much more meaningful for all of us.
Imagine inviting one of these to your wedding, your flower girl posing with one. Or having your engagement shoot at this horse sanctuary in Berks County. These unicorns work to earn their keep! !

The groom, a pastry chef, made the cakes!

I don't post much non-wedding or me-related content, but this might help you vote this Tuesday. Much is at stake, including Medicare (which my father helped pass, that's him with the president giving him a copy of it) and Social Security. So vote wisely, and enjoy the benefits of a free country where we can each vote!
Just one more reason to have a heartfelt ceremony that shares your love story with your guests.
Tomorrow's venue... beautiful!
Sometimes the younger ring bearer is a little intimidated...and that's what brothers are for, LOL.

It's the International Day of Peace. Worth taking note of. https://www.un.org/en/observances/international-day-peace
You know That Kiss? The one right after I declare you married? I know it's darn near impossible to wait. Really, I do. But could I ask a favor? Go slo-mo. Look in each other's eyes just long enough for me to move out of the picture. Because then that shot rocks--forever. But hey, it's your wedding--if I must run because you're in a hurry to kiss your new spouse, I'll just have more funny pics to post.
Get me to the church on time! Great wedding story in the UK.
Would you give a ride to a stranded bride? CNN's Jeanne Moos reports on the bride who hitched a ride to her own wedding.
I get an inside look at my fellow vendors...

Throwback Thursday: Last June's wedding (Allentown Rose Garden). An egret zoomed the guests right after the wedding, supposed to be good luck.
Can't say which is cuter. I do think Juno got more attention even though the flower girl did an amazing job.
Thanks for the review, Kim. Loved meeting your kids too.
Post from 3 years ago that came up on my feed. I still feel the same and try to do this. 🥰

Not knowing is not always a bad thing. Exploring can be enlightening and life-giving.
This couple was so fun to marry despite the pouring rain that day. Ben was determined to ask Kim to be his girlfriend in 2018 but the spot he'd picked, on one of Pinchot Park's paths, was muddy, and the day was cold, rainy and windy. Kim is such an easy-going person--and definitely interested in Ben--that she went along with it. Now they "make gold" together. Only wish I'd gotten the memo about the wedding's western theme...would have worn my boots, too! Shot of couple by Natalie Sharp. www.facebook.com/sharpsisterspictures

I seem to be getting a lot of opportunities. I've been to these community-building events and love them. Nothing like hearing how someone ended up doing/making what they're doing/making. http://pknightyork.com/upcoming NEXT WED, FREE

The sun came out just before Kelli came down the aisle...a harbinger of good things to come.
I was inspired by my aunt's life marked by love and wrote this for her memorial service. (Last verse)
I just love the look of this cake. Does anyone have a favorite-style wedding cake?
My first hospital wedding. Such a sweet couple; they were going to get married in the summer, but they decided not to wait. Love wins again.
