Not my typical photo (taken in June), but I thought I’d introduce myself to those that don’t know me. This will be a combo post, as I have 2 Instagram accounts, one for my vintage booth, (Elle Vintage on Facebook) and one for my flowers, (BLOOM Flowers from The Rock on Facebook).
I’m a wife, mother of 2, grandmother of 5, and woman of faith. I love anything creative and love to look for beauty… mostly in nature, but I can also find it at a vintage or home decor store (yes, I love shopping!). As I mentioned, I have an antique booth, as well as grow and sell flowers!
I have an art degree, majoring in interior design. I did work a short time for a commercial interior design firm, stayed home for a few years with my children and spent most of my career as a Project Manager in state government for an engineering department. I mainly managed roofing projects and was on and off more roofs than I can count (thank goodness mainly flat roofs)! As a teenager, my father owned a flower shop, which gave me my start in flowers. I dabble in interior design and love decorating my own home! I love mixing old and new!
