Today was Carter’s Valentine’s Day party at school where the kids create cards and assemble food donation bags for a local charity.

Today was Carter’s final Holiday Party of Elementary School 😢

While all of these “lasts” of this year are bittersweet, the best part of the year is that I am one of his two Homeroom Coordinators for his 5th grade class.

Which means I get to PLAN and best of all ATTEND all four parties of the year 🥳

These were the only pictures I took today, and the fruit/veggie platter pic I didn’t even remember to take (even though my mom slaved over cutting and washing them all and went to the grocery store for me this morning to get them).

There’s no better feeling in the world than having your kid come up and give you a hug as soon as you walk in their classroom door, sit on your lap during party games, and genuinely want to be around you the whole time you are there.
