Pinwheels are placed to honor a loved one lost to an overdose. Overdose affects everyone, not just those who are in active addiction. They are somebody’s son, daughter, brother, sister, father, mother, uncle, aunt, cousin, significant other, and friend. Join us tomorrow to share, mourn, and remember our lost loved ones, as well as learn more about how to prevent overdose, from 10 am to 2 pm at Sarg Hubbard Park, free and open to the public, made possible by Gesa Credit Union, Yakima Recovery Events, and Wellpoint.
