King Turkey Day Smokin' Gobbler BBQ Cook-Off Annual KCBS BBQ Contest in Worthington, MN We created this page to stay in contact and share information with, current and future BBQ teams, judges and fans.

The King Turkey Day Smokin' Gobbler Cook-Off is an annual Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event, held in conjunction with our town celebration, King Turkey Day. Our first KCBS BBQ contest was a success, in spite of the fact that our organizers were and are, very new to competition BBQ events. Hopefully we can improve and grow this contest each year.
