Last week, we had a blast when Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winner Marc Shaiman joined Broadway in Worcester to discuss his new bestselling memoir Never Mind the Happy. Special thanks to GBH’s Jared Bowen for moderating the evening’s conversation and to Worcester native Michael Skrzek (national tour of Some Like it Hot) and Burncoat High School for treating our audience to performances of Marc’s songs!

This donut is a SMASH! Only at Wooden Bakery!

Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award winner Marc Shaiman loves a good jelly donut so we had to make sure that he had the absolute best ready for him when he comes to Worcester this Tuesday.

Broadway in Worcester partnered with Wooden Bakery to create this special raspberry jam and orange glaze donut. Available this Saturday and Sunday at Wooden Bakery located in Wooden Bar at 4 Knowlton Ave. in Worcester. Get them while you can - this morning's donuts sold out so fast!

Fresh off the national tour of Shaiman and Wittman’s SOME LIKE IT HOT, Worcester native Michael Skrzek will be joining Marc Shaiman on June 9 as a guest performer at the JMAC. Audience members will receive a signed copy of Marc’s New York Time’s best-selling memoir “Never Mind the Happy” and be treated to a lively conservation between Marc and GBH’s Jared Bowen and special live performances.
