SiriusXM radio host Seth Rudetsky is bringing his Broadway concert series back to Worcester! Rudetsky is teaming up with Tony Award® winner James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin, Hamilton, Wonderful World) for a one-night-only special-event concert that will be filled with intimate, funny, behind-the-scenes stories mixed with incredible performances of the songs Iglehart has performed on Broadway and beyond.

The set list will have Iglehart recreating show-stopping performances from his unique Broadway career, like “What a Wonderful World” from his Tony-nominated portrayal as Louis Armstrong, Thomas Jefferson’s “What’d I Miss?” from Hamilton and, of course, the Genie’s “Friend Like Me” from Aladdin, the show for which he won the Tony Award! Seth’s Broadway Concerts are always one-of-a-kind because they’re never fully planned in advance. You may recall the late, great Chita Rivera in Worcester getting up and hitting her signature pose from the film Sweet Charity after Seth “demanded” she do so, or Jessie Mueller recreating her high school performance as Princess Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress because of Seth’s request. Who knows what will happen at the performance you attend!

This spontaneous evening of show-stopping stories and hit songs will also feature Iglehart performing some dream roles like the title role in Sweeney Todd and Aaron Burr in Hamilton! If you love amazing musicians and sassy comedy, come see this one-night- only event!

If Playbill announced it, then it's official. We can't wait to welcome James Monroe Iglehart, Seth Rudetsky, Matt Doyle, Lindsay Mendez, and John McDaniel to Worcester.

The initiative by Worcester native Eric Butler brings Broadway stars to the Massachusetts town.
