Sawing my own floral masterpieces in half, on location, just before a wedding ceremony. I have power tools and I’m not intimidated to use them. 🤍 Built this giant 5’ installation to be placed on a thin outdoor mantle… but the weather today made us pivot. With the help of the venue coordinator, I made the call to literally saw the ceremony installation in half and place in on top of 2 wine barrels to mark the (now indoor) ceremony location… while motioning my 8-year-old assistant/videographer/daughter to get out of the roadway while other vehicles were passing us in the driveway. My saw saved the day. You never know what is in store on a wedding day, but I always have the tools on hand and the confidence to get the job done beautifully. 🌿🌿

The pride that comes from cutting flowers that I grew in my own garden and turning them into arrangements for your events is something that makes me beam. 💕 27 bud vases and 2 arrangements for a special birthday celebration today. Peonies, garden roses, spray roses, yarrow, mint, vinca & more — all homegrown at ‘s Bishopville property.

Anyone up for bouquets of fresh peonies tomorrow before the rain hits? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I cut most of my garden-grown peonies early this morning, am conditioning them, have them in the flower fridge and will wrap them up for sale tomorrow. Limited quantities will be available. Just judging interest now and will post pricing soon. 💕 Home grown by yours truly in Bishopville, MD.
