A Little Reintroduction š¤
Hi everyone! My name is Brenda Caroline Parada. Iām 25 years old and live in Woodward.
A few years ago, I introduced myself here by sharing that I was married and had a daughter. Life has changed a lot since then, so I wanted to reintroduce myself.
Today, Iām a single mom to two beautiful babies, Paisley Suean and Rio Miguel. They are my biggest motivation and the reason I keep pushing forward every single day.
About three years ago, my mom and I decided we wanted to bring something fun and different to our community, so we invested in our bounce houses. Around that same time, life took an unexpected turn. My dad was diagnosed with cancer, and after a hard fight, we lost him the following November.
Just two weeks before he passed away, I found out I was pregnant with Rio.
When bounce house season arrived, I was heavily pregnant, and soon after, I was a brand new postpartum mom. I intentionally kept advertising to a minimum because I simply wasnāt ready to take on a full season.
This year has looked different in another way. Iām now running this business on my own. So have not advertised much at all. While I have incredible help from my boyfriend, his brother, and my own brother whenever they can, the day-to-day responsibilities fall on me.
And honestly⦠you guys still keep me so busy and I couldnāt do it without all of you.
Every booking, every recommendation, every share, every kind word it means more than youāll ever know. There have been weekends where Iām loading and unloading bounce houses by myself, exhausted, emotional, and wondering how Iām going to get it all done. Then another booking comes in, and Iām reminded that this community believes in me.
Thank you for trusting me with your birthday parties, family gatherings, school events, church functions, and special memories. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your continued support as Iāve learned to navigate life, motherhood, and business all at the same time.
This business is more than just bounce houses to me. Itās a dream I have to be an entrepreneur and be an example for my kidās, a way to honor my dadās memory by never giving up, and a way to provide for my children.
From the bottom of my heart⦠thank you. Thank you for keeping me busy, for believing in me, and for allowing me to be a small part of your familyās special moments.
Hereās to many more years of making memories together. š
