So, this is the TV show I was on. My segment starts at 5:33. We landed at Salton City in August of 2000. Opened up Nov1 2000 NEVER AGAIN.....I had that place so busy that it was ridiculous I bought an old, abandoned casino in the middle of the Calif. desert. Who knew what would happen. We had the Rock come in when they were filming Scorpion King, they filmed Torque that motorcycle movie and 29 Palms and we even fed the season finale crew of The X Files for 4 months delivering food sometimes to them at location at 11 pm. Anyway, it was absolutely crazy doing it for 5 years and when I left there were gas stations popping up casinos built down the street and builders coming in and building new homes, we even got mail delivery that they never had and got a basketball court put in the park....and then we left. What a ride that was. Weve seen a lot of places and meet a lot of great people. BTW the laugh at the end of the show is mine.
