Goodbyes are always so hard. Rowan and Remi are the heart and soul of Mayberry Acres. I'll miss those sweet sloppy tounge kisses and all the fluffy head scratches and sweet and loud hungry moos she gave me. 🥹😞 💔

Back on set today for my foodstyling life. I have been so busy ever since I got back from The Netherlands and have been trying to play catch up on so many things that I have put my garden on the back burner. This morning I was loading my car with my equipment and caught the sweet smell of the morning sweet peas in bloom. The aroma of them is so nostalgic and I had to go over and appreciate these beauties and the show that they are putting on right now. A sweet and simple reminder to slow down and to appreciate the small but powerful little moments in life before they are gone. Hopefully I'll get home from work tonight before dark so Smoosh and I can harvest these gifts. 💕

Very soon, I’ll be on my way to The Netherlands to fully immerse myself in the Dutch way of life—especially when it comes to all things floral. This trip is a dream come true, and I’ll be diving headfirst into the world of flower farming, marketing, and design, soaking up all things floral history, culture, and the incredible artistry the Dutch are known for.

I’ll be visiting breathtaking tulip gardens (including the famous Keukenhof), touring small countryside farms, and—if all goes as planned—floating through the lilac groves via canal while visiting Aalsmeer. I’m beyond excited to go behind the scenes at Royal FloraHolland, the world’s largest flower auction, and spend time exploring the inspiring Flower Art Museum.

My time will be split between a cozy countryside cabin nestled beside tulip fields and a city stay just across from the world’s only floating flower market—Bloemenmarkt—which actually helped inspire Poppy’s aesthetic. And as a true cherry on top, I’ll be attending Bloemencorso, the iconic flower parade and so much more. 🥹🙏🏻

This week will be filled with learning, growing, and a little healing, too. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to experience this and hope to return home full of fresh ideas, deeper knowledge, and new inspiration & spark for The Pop Up Poppy.

I’ll be back just before Easter and may have a few pretties available for y’all—so stay tuned!

Oh, I have missed the fresh flowers so much over winter hibernation. So excited to be surrounded by all the pretty flowers once again. We're getting ready for a pretty weekend and an even prettier next week with some gorgeous blooms arriving daily & right in time for Valentine's Day. 💕
