California Duck Days is April 27 at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Headquarters. So many fun activities. I'll be there helping anyone who is interested how to make a tule decoy or a miniature tule boat (or ask and we can show you how to make tule cordage). Here's a link to the activities: https://yolobasin.org/cdd-activities-workshops/

I have a variety of aprons I wear when I paint. I recently had the opportunity to paint for "Shark Week" at a summer camp. I decided I needed a shark themed apron to wear. The shark on the apron is a pocket that can hold my phone(the shark is also removable so I can wear the apron without the shark when appropriate). Of course, as often is the case, only a handful of kids wanted sharks painted. But I love the apron and it was fun learning a few new sharks to paint.

A fun family event! I will be there helping kids make ducks/decoys and little boats out of tule(a plant that grows in the wetlands). Stop by and say hello! There are so many fun activities at duck days including baby ducklings to hold, a pond to dip a net in and see what lives in the water, and so much more!

Share with your friends. Mark the date. Such fun on April 29 at CA Duck Days! Check back to see what we will be doing. https://www.yolobasin.org/california-duck-days/

Starting to think about Halloween! I'll be at Bobby Dazzler's Pumpkin Patch most weekends in October from 2-7. Hope to see you there!
