This past Friday night, the weather held off and the heat cooled a bit for a Family Fun Night. The parents and youngest kids were so excited to have their own dedicated play space.

🎉 So excited to be back at the ECFE Screen Free Week!

The Early Learning Advisory Council has put together an incredible line up of activities for the week starting May 2-8. Activities like:

🎉 Saturday's Pajama Jam Dance & Play Party
🎉 Playground play dates all week long
🎉 Play hours with Play Nook Adventures
🎉 Sessions with Soccer Shots Twin Cities
🎉 Story Times with librarians and authors
🎉 Animal Meet & Greets with Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center
🎉 A KidStrong Woodbury session

It's going to be another incredible week for the third year straight. Be sure to check out all the events and register early for any that need it, as most do hit capacity quickly.

Play Nook Adventures is a proud partner of the Woodbury Lakes Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k happening on May 9!

Not only am I the race director for this local race, but I love running and racing. Being able to put these races together for the local running community, and have Play Nook Adventures take some part in it all, is a true combination of all the things I love about my work.

It's race season!

Play Nook Adventures is proud to be a sponsor (and Community Coordinator) of the Healthy Kids Running Series Woodbury.

Join in on the running fun starting this Sunday evening. Healthy Kids is a 5 week race series for ages 2 years old through 8th grade with kids running different distances based on their ages.

Rob, my husband, and I have been the Community Coordinators for over 8 years and just adore seeing kids work hard for something week after week.

Come give the race a try for your child and don't forget about the fan favorite Parent Mile on week 5!
