What to look for in a DJ for your event or party!

Before you hire just anyone with k***s in front of them….

1. A good event DJ communicates clearly and naturally on the mic, using humor to keep things fun without going overboard.
2. They keep the schedule on track and make the client happy, since that's who hired them. From releasing tables for dinner service, to the first dance cake cutting, and the owing the bouquet.
3. They choose songs for the room, not just what mixes well.
4. They watch sound levels, keeping it clear and powerful without getting harsh or overwhelming.
5. They handle the lighting so the dance floor glows with energy, while making sure no one gets blinded. Even asking in the planning stages if anyone is sensitive to flashing lights, or fog would be a great idea.

I am Disco Bill, a highly experienced and professional DJ and Master of Ceremonies specializing in creating memorable events & celebrations.

What a wonderful event! The event that created at the amazing , was delivered with a very high-quality experience and food! There was so many positive comments during, and after the event, about how much fun everyone had! The setting, the food, the atmosphere was over the top! Also in support of the , it was my honor to donate my sound system, music and support for the event with 6 speaker and wireless microphones, and over 400 feet of power and mic and speaker cables, moving spotlight, all Italian movies showing on a video screen, along with a very fun and traditional Italian music playlist that I created.
I designed the speaker placements thinking about it like a theme park, from the entrance with speakers placed in trees with their own volume levels another one behind a seating area that was hard to reach by cables, so I ran the cable up and over the lighting wires to reach a unique spot so it would sound even better.

It was so much fun playing these songs from Italy. And with her beauty and talented voice did a fantastic job as always! 🇮🇹 captured everything on camera with his artistic eye! A big congratulations to and the entire hard-working team at Basta!

What a wonderful event! The event that Basta created at the amazing Havilah Ranch, was delivered with a very high-quality experience and food! There was so many positive comments during, and after the event, about how much fun everyone had! The setting, the food, the atmosphere was over the top! Also in support of the , it was my honor to provide sound music and support for the event with 6 speaker and wireless microphones, and over 375’ of power and mic cables, moving spotlight, all Italian movies showing on a video screen, along with a very fun and traditional Italian music playlist that I created. It was so much fun playing these songs from Italy. And with her beauty and talented voice did a fantastic job as always! 🇮🇹 captured everything on camera with his artistic eye! I can’t wait to see his awesome photos and videos from the event. A big congratulations to the entire hard-working team at Basta!

Just in a year with my Dj “fun”, It’s been an amazing experience. I’ve done over 26 parities and events! Weddings, Company Parties, Birthday Parties, nonprofit donations, and so much more! It is so gratifying to see a young couple happy with their wedding! I’ve met so many wonderful kind people! Thank you all who have trusted me with their special moments.
