There are people who work for a company… and then there are people who become part of the foundation that company is built on.
Blair has been that person for 617.
If you’ve worked with us over the years, there’s a good chance you’ve talked with her on the phone, exchanged emails, planned your timeline, or had her help answer a question. What most people don’t see is everything that happens behind the scenes. The countless details, the problem solving, the late nights, the care she puts into every couple, and every member of our team. She has an incredible ability to make people feel heard, valued, and taken care of. She genuinely cares, and that can’t be taught.
People often congratulate me for what 617 has become. The truth is, no one builds something like this alone. If you love what 617 is today, you’re seeing Blair’s fingerprints all over it. She has helped shape the culture of this company in ways most people will never fully realize, and I honestly can’t imagine 617 without her.
For our DJs and staff, Blair is so much more than a Sales Manager. She’s the person who celebrates our wins, helps us through the hard days, keeps us organized when things get chaotic, and somehow always finds a way to make everyone around her better. She leads with kindness, and works harder than anyone realizes.
On a personal level, Blair has been one of my closest friends for ever. She’s been there through the highs, the lows, the victories, the setbacks, and everything in between. There are very few people I trust the way I trust her. She’s challenged me when I needed it, supported me when I didn’t think I deserved it, and has always believed in what we were building together.
So today isn’t about celebrating an employee. It’s about celebrating an extraordinary human being.
Blair… thank you for your loyalty, your heart, your friendship, and for pouring so much love into 617. You’ve helped make this company what it is, but more importantly, you’ve helped make me a better person along the way. I love ya my friend. Our team, our couples, and I are all better because of you.
