As Michigan filmmakers, it can be difficult to navigate a very competitive and cutthroat field. We believe being self-sustaining as a state rather than waiting for a handout would be a much better option in our opinion. despite MiFIA's efforts, no tangible results have yet to pass, which is why we advocate for self-sustaining our own film industry. MiFIA and other organizations who have the funds and means to divert their funds to be put to better use should be doing that, but often times we believe some organizations aren't thinking of the people they're supposed to represent. The organizations claiming to represent the people need to start listening to the people because how can you represent people if you aren't in tune with their wants, needs, and expectations? It's time we take a stand against a lack of progress and think outside the box. Power to the people! 🎥🎞️🎬
