JONATHON EMERSON was the winner of the 2020 Amsoil Dominator Strictly Shootout. Just like the unpredictable, covid-shortened season, the 2020 Shootout was full of twists and turns. 28 drivers lined up for the 50-lap main event, but first came the pre-race redraw that saw 2-time Shootout winner Kyle Hewins draw the P1 Amsoil bottle, only to then take a $300 payoff to drop to the tail of the field, drawing a big cheer from the fans and a sigh of relief from his fellow drivers. Kurt Hewins led the first 12 laps until Brad Erskine took over through the middle portion of the race. Jason Gammon was in the hunt for much of the race, hanging around the lead pack until he took the lead from lap 27 to the checkers. He was chased across the stripe by Jonathon Emerson and Kyle Hewins (who had raced back up to the lead pack from 28th). With the nighttime fog rolling in, the Shootout took another turn in postrace tech when Gammon was penalized for an unapproved carburator spacer. The victory would go to Emerson, giving him 3 wins on the shortened season. Kyle Hewins took home 2nd followed by Garrett Lamb taking 3rd in his first ever Shootout. Nate Leavitt and Zach Emerson filled out the top 5 as 22 drivers finished on the lead lap.

JORDAN RUSSELL was the winner of the 2019 Amsoil Dominator Strictly Shootout. While the race was relatively light on car count with 25 cars taking the green flag, it was not light on action with several top drivers taking a shot at the victory. Russell, the veteran racer from Norway, rode into town for his only appearance of the season and held off perennial contender Dan Brown of Peru and 2019 Wiscasset Strictly Champ Zack Emerson, among others, to take the checkers. He had strong cars in the previous two shootout races, only to have hard luck and trouble pull potential victory from his hands. This time, it all came together for a convincing victory. Brown chased him across the line second by a 2.48 sec margin. Nate Leavitt and Rick Spaulding filled out the top three. The race was slowed by 4 cautions.

KURT HEWINS won the 2018 Amsoil Dominator Strictly Shootout. While his younger brother Kyle ruled the regular season on his way to the 2018 season title, it was big brother Kurt who dominated the Strictly Shootout. It was the first year the race was bumped up to 50 laps and Kurt led the main event wire-to-wire for the convincing victory over 23 other competitors. The race was slowed by just three cautions. It was Kurt's second time taking home the cowboy hat and other special awards. The 4-year run of dominance by the Hewins brothers, each taking two wins, had some calling the Shootout the "Hewins Invitational". Young Jonathon Emerson made his first visit to the Shootout victory lane with his runner-up finish. They were joined by multi-time champion Maurice Young. Nate Leavitt and Shawn Austin filled out the top 5.

KYLE HEWINS was the winner of the 5th annual Strictly Shootout in 2017. It was a year marked by a sponsor change and a bit of controversy in the event. Four Season Synthetics / Amsoil came on board as the title sponsor of the race, introducing a slew of special awards that have now become a tradition - including the championship rodeo-style belt buckle. 30 drivers took the green flag for the 40-lap main event. A first lap crash took out several contenders, including Dave Cameron, Cole Watson, and Brett Osmond. While another caution on lap 9 retired former track champs Bryan Robbins & Maurice Young. The race settled down after that with veteran Matt Dufault crossing under the checkers first, chased by Kyle Hewins, Jonanthon Emerson, Gary Davis, and Billy Childs. Post-race tech inspection penalties to Dufault, Davis, and Childs shook up the final running order, with the official victory going to Hewins, becoming the first 2-time winner. Jonathon and Zach Emerson took home the 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Zach Nicolson and 2016 winner Kurt Hewins filled out the official top 5.
(note Kyle Hewins was not able to take an "official" photo as the Shootout winner until start of the 2018 season)

KURT HEWINS was the winner of the 4th annual Top Gun Strictly Shootout. The 2016 Wiscasset Strictly Street champ put an exclamation point on his season campaign with his 6th win of the season and besting the 30-car starting field that included many of the top Street Stock, Outlaw & Wildcat drivers from the region. Many of the race favorites started mid pack thanks to an invert that flipped the front 13 positions. Veteran Jordan Russell held the early lead until Hewins arrived on the scene. The race took a major turn on lap 15 as Russell crashed out from 2nd after making hard contact with a lap car on the back stretch. Hewins then withstood challenges from Zach Bowie, Bryan Robbins, and Matt Dufault. He went on to take the 40-lap shootout victory and become the race's 4th different winner in 4 years. Zach Emerson would make a last lap pass and sneak in to grab 2nd, and Cole Watson continued his shootout podium run, taking home 3rd. Mac Hanna Jr finished 4th, while Ryan Ripley made the biggest move in the race, starting 29th and finishing 5th.
