Week day weddings just hit differently. This day was so full of love, bouncy little flower girls, stunning sunlight and clouds that felt like a painting. Did I mention the irises are still holding on with their sweet grape juice smell? ✨

May did not disappoint over here ( one more wedding left for the month) and I can’t believe we are already heading into June!
Congrats Hannah + Zac!!

A windy Thursday never looked so good. Kylee + Connor chose 5.15.25 for their sweet + simple micro wedding and the wind made magic of her veil, their vows, and every moment in between.

May Day weddings have my heart.
The first of May always feels like an invitation. Soft rain, spring leaning in, something ancient in the air.

Alexis + Jacob arrived with their baby nestled in arms, their day unfolding slowly and sweetly. Alex got ready with her mother and her grandmother, who hand-delivered a bouquet she made herself which had lavender tucked in from a neighbor’s yard, borrowed with love.

They said their vows in the conservatory, clouds pressing close outside. And then, hand in hand, the three of them walked back down the aisle together.

Even our kitten Beetle wandered into the moment like she didn’t want to miss the magic.

An April day we thought might bring tornadoes ended up showering us in sunlight instead.

Carissa + Maddie’s elopement was full of heart! Flower girls bouncing down the aisle, handfasting ribbons given by each guest, homemade food from two chefs in love, and thoughtful touches tucked into every moment (including a thrifted glass with our name on it 🥹).

More of this love story on our blog soon!

Saturday night felt like stepping into a dream.

Between the golden sunlight, the conversations, and the plates crafted with so much care, it was already a night to remember and then, to end it all, a sweet proposal happened right before dessert.

Chef Zach’s ( )five-course menu told a story of our land and seasons, featuring local ingredients. and .events table styling made the space feel even more magical; thoughtful, beautiful, and alive.

Thank you to everyone who shared this evening with us. These .to.fork.iowa dinners are so much more than just a meal, they’re moments, stitched together by good people, good food, and a little bit of whimsical. Your host, Matt, with puts it all together so perfectly.

We’re already dreaming about the next one!

There’s nothing cookie-cutter about weddings at Iris Aisle. Just sunlight through stained glass, winding cedar trails, barefoot vows, and the hush of nature leaning in to listen.

Here’s what we’ve learned from the land (and hundreds of heartfelt weddings):

1. Let the Conservatory Shine – It’s not just a venue, it’s the heart of the space. Lush with greenery, speckled in thrifted stained glass, and framed by our cedar grove.

2. Time your ceremony with the sun. Morning light streams through the conservatory’s ceremony side like a soft golden prayer. Or aim for golden hour to enjoy the warmth, then slip into the glow of twinkling lights as night falls.

3. Wear shoes made for walking. Heels sink in our soft earth. Embrace the barefoot beauty or go for comfy, earthy footwear.

4. Make a Plan A + B… but wait – Iowa skies shift fast. Decide your weather plan the day before and take advantage of our open-air lean-to if needed.

5. Lean into simplicity. The trees, wildflowers, and soft breeze do so much of the work. Let them.

6.Skip the DJ, cue the charm. Our indoor spaces are best served with your custom playlist on our Bluetooth speakers, or better yet—invite a friend with a guitar.

7. Use the woods. Ceremonies in our tree tunnel or trails feel like sacred little secrets. And a first dance under the twinkle lights? Pure magic.

Iris Aisle isn’t just a venue, it’s a feeling. If you love nature, you’ll feel right at home.

Here’s how it flows:
You arrive, just the two of you. Maybe in wedding clothes, maybe in your favorite outfit. You step into the conservatory. It’s quiet, golden, green. You take a breath. You smile. You say yes.

One hour.
A few tears.
A kiss under the trees.
Photos you’ll keep forever.

Our newest package, Whim & Wed, is booking now for 48 hour ceremonies. Simple, beautiful, and full of meaning.

$950

April skies were moody, the blooms still waiting but love showed up right on time.

Nikki and Mager’s elopement was soft, personal, and full of laughter. They followed a trail of petals into the conservatory, exchanged vows in the woods, and wove Olive Garden memories into their ceremony (yes, really). Three weeks to plan. A lifetime in the making. It was magic. ✨🖤
