Here's a little Q&A!

Q-How did you get started?
A- I went to an event one time with a friend who was a DJ, and it looked like something I'd love. So I asked, 'Can chicks be DJs too?' and of course, the answer is YES. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Q-Where do you get your inspiration?
A- From everywhere! We have so many talented people who work in the wedding industry that I see something new and amazingly creative almost every week on social media. I also read a ton of books that usually inspire me in my personal life as well. And I know it sounds cheesy, but my team is such an inspiration for me too. I started this business as a way for women to break into a male-dominated industry and be able to support themselves through their passion for music, and I get to watch them do that every day.

Q-What’s your favorite part of the wedding day?
A - Getting to see the face of the person watching their new life partner walk down the aisle - there is something so, so magical about seeing that first loving look with newlyweds.

Q-What in your opinion is the coolest trend right now with weddings?
A- I'm loving all the neon signs that are happening! I actually have one in my house, but seeing how couples with all kinds of wedding themes (glam, modern, rustic, tropical, etc.) are incorporating this unique feature is so fun. Their new last name, their favorite phrase, or something about love - they're all great!

Q-If you could give brides one piece of advice, what would it be?
A-Be as present as possible. You've hired a team of professionals who want nothing more to take care of you, so let us worry about bringing all of the little details together. Focus on making memories with your new spouse and all of the loved ones who are there to celebrate you two!
