Professional Colorist and editor for your next film. Luke first started in photography basically freelancing and shooting people with intense amount of flash.
What can you say; Luke has a serious attraction to light and enriched colors of clothing. If you are a bride wearing a dark blue dress to the wedding, congrats I will do your wedding for free. Luke moved out of DJing and solely into photography 2 years ago and is starting to separate slowly from DJing all together. (Okay, is it just me or can you hear a narrator saying most of this.) Ummm....For t
hose of you that may not know, Luke is the owner of Agape Photos and the bees knees. Luke’s number one passion is to bring smiles to people and leave them with blissful lasting memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. If you don’t know Luke, he is a well verse guy. He started out DJing weddings over a decade ago! (Yes, it is me talking in third person, sitting in my comfortable recliner as I am writing this.) It takes a lot to be a photographer not just money talk but a lot of dedication, pride, and diligence to present the best of the best to every client. I’m not your typical uncle or best friend that buys very nice camera equipment and say I’m a photographer. I take pride in capturing every moment, every detail, every nick and cranny. I treat every photography job like if it was me getting shot. I pay attention to see things that the normal eye tends to miss. Such as angles, lighting and candid shots. Personally candid shots are my favorite. You never know what to expect when you get home with a roll of 1000 photos until you bring it up in the good ole editing software.

This weekend I had the opportunity of being dp on set and here are some screengrabs from it. Shot with the blackmagic ursa mini g2 paired with the sigma art 50-100 lens. After doing this film set, I have now found my new go to long lens. This lens is beautiful!

Here is a few frames from the latest promo Im grading for someone. I put the skills that I was taught to practice with this. Let me say that Color correcting no profile, standard rec709 from a sony a7iii can be done. It takes patience, practice and a whole lot of color massaging.

Today, let me show you the power of Blackmagics all new Gen 5 Color Science. This literally saved the shot posted above. After working within resolve 17, I realized the biggest difference between gen 4 and gen 5 is the muddy and nasty reds. This shot was probably the most challenging shot that I ever Color Corrected but the results are mind blowing. Thank you blackmagic for your sheer genius abilities.

Agape Media is a multi-media company offering videography, retouching, Graphic and Logo Design and photography services for a wide range of events. Agape Media’s name was carefully thought out. Seeing that the word Photography originated from the greek language, we wanted something that stuck to it’s roots and display that we are a Christian based company. Photography in the greek has two meanings; Light and to draw. Agape in the greek means; Breathless or to take someones breath away. Essentially Our name means; Drawing Light to form a breathless piece of art.
Agape Media’s Mission is to create videos that will inspire and empower lives across the globe with the good news. We are not just a multi-media company, we are also a ministry. We love to empower lives and plant seeds. Agape Media offers videography, photography and ministry services for weddings, parties, church functions and corporate functions. We also offer video and photo training classes to veterans and churches to teach others how to start in the form of media. We believe that God created us all to live life to the fullest and to also display who God is by sharing it through our talents he gave us and to give it out to others. Luke heard a pastor say recently that “love is not just a word to say, it is also an action to be displayed.” This is so true and it goes along with our mission to display Gods love through the form of media.
About The Owner
Luke is a veteran that served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and started his career in multi-media at a young age. Luke studied Film and Dark Room and has ever since continued to thrive and build his skills that God has given to him to share. His passion in life is Video and Photography. Luke states: “Every time I put that viewfinder to my eye, it is like I see the beauty that God sees. In that split second of capturing the image, I see a beauty that no one has ever seen before. God is the master artist and to think that he crafted everything, The animals, the beautiful landscapes, and people from the palms of his hands is something that goes beyond words. Ephesians 2:10 says that we are all God’s Poema, or poems. Everything on this earth is an unfinished tapestry that gets painted on everyday. I just love being able to see God’s handiwork unfold before my very eyes.”
