After some time of deep reflection, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Parlour Room will be closing before the end of the year. This is by far one of the hardest announcements we’ve ever had to make, and finding the right words has been incredibly difficult.
First and foremost, to those with events booked, please know we are committed to staying open through the end of October to ensure your celebrations come to life as planned. We also have several events of our own that we are excited to host in the coming months, and we hope you’ll join us. Additionally, we will continue accepting new event bookings through October 2025.
We have always wanted to be fully transparent with all of you in our community; although we had many amazing events and we had so much hope and determination with this adventure, unfortunately due to factors outside of our control this is the route we will have to take. For those who know there is a lot that goes into running a business from small things like daily cleaning and meetings to all of the supplies and bills needed to keep the doors open. Owning a business is not for the weak and sometimes no matter how much time, love, and hard work you put into a business it cannot run on those things alone. We know these are challenging times for many, and we are deeply grateful to every single one of you who has supported us in any way that you were able—whether by hosting an event, attending one of ours, or simply following and sharing our journey with others. You have meant the world to us.
To the small businesses we’ve had the privilege of working with—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We hope that you continue to grow and be successful and we hope we were a positive part in your journey. We appreciated getting to know every single one of you and we are grateful for the opportunities to build such amazing connections and relationships.
This is not the ending we envisioned, and a part of us will always hold onto hope for a miracle. But until then, we are committed to making these last few months as meaningful as possible—giving our all to every event and ensuring this space remains a place of joy, community, and connection. Though this chapter is closing, we strongly believe everything happens for a reason and we hope that we have left a lasting impact on our community.
