Sometimes life throws us curveballs and we have to team together to do what it takes to get through these catastrophes.
On Friday evening we were asked to prepare food for dinner at the base camp for the Sage Creek Fires for SATURDAY for 200 firefighters.
As many of you know, we already had a busy day that day with Unique Tin, but we divided and conquered and made it happen! All within 24 hours ❤️
However, they enjoyed it so much that today is our third day preparing them dinner and we will be doing so through Thursday, possibly longer.
This all being said, we are burning the midnight oil to make this happen for them and we are exhausted. It is taking all of our energy to do the daily shopping, prepping, smoking, and catering... daily 🤣 This is all on top of Unique Tin AND our other caters throughout the week and this weekend.
We have chosen to be closed this week while we focus on feeding these hard working firefighters that are fighting the blaze at Sage Creek.
We will possibly habe 1 day this week to rest up before serving you all next week!
Please also note that our next closure will be the week of Labor Day (not to be confused with Labor Day weekend), as we attend Rod Run and work our other caters.
We want to thank our team for their dedication and service this week as it has already been SO long and they are KILLING IT!
We also want to give a shout out and a HUGE THANK YOU to The Mill Bakery for jumping in and preparing the nightly desserts for us on such a short notice ❤️
They do a much better job at baking than I do and it has relieved me of that pressure to be able to focus on what we do best.
Thank you all for your constant support and understanding and we look forward to seeing you next week!
